Recently, Google made big changes in its SRP. Google extends
the Meta title and meta Description length. It is first tweet by Ross Hudgens,
Founder of @siegemedia. See his tweet in screenshot.
Changes in Meta Title
in SRP:
According to Google search result page, Now Meta title is
now showing 70-71 Character with space, before it was 50-60 character with
space only.
For Example:
When I searched for {Facebook Implement new function
"World’s emotions into 6 Reactions"}
It shows me 70 characters, better understand in image:

Description in SRP:
Same condition with Meta description case, Now it is 278
characters to display, which was before 155-160 characters.
Note: We should remember it is on testing phase now. There
is no hard and fast rules that it will be remain same for future. It could
reverse at any time in it’s before condition. So please don’t make lot of
changes in your SEO Title and Description because these changes could modify
anytime.

in SRP:
The other change is the display URL formatting. Advertisers
will be able to append up to two paths or directories to the domain name.
