Active Users and It's role in Google Analytics

Active users is very important metric of google analytics. Active users includes all users as new users and the returning users that have opened your website, webpage or app at least once during a selected time period.

It could be a fast way to see how many return visitors your website is getting on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
